Players must also secure their king in a position which will limit the moves of their opponents to attack and capture their remaining pieces. Limiting the moves of their opponent's king is also important to ensure winning at the end game.

The king and the queen are the chess pieces that players should always observe. They must think how to make an edge out of these pieces. If they know how to use the king and the queen in the safest and most aggressive way, then their chance to win will be higher.
